Tanzania can benefit from approximately 2 trillion shillings due to the investment of various projects including electricity production and water production technology based on environmental protection.

This was revealed during the meeting of the Minister of State Office of the Vice President (Union and Environment) Hon. Dr. Selemani and CEO of CC Airwell of Austria Mr. Wolfgang Fuchs with the aim of introducing that technology, today June 26, 2024.

In their conversation, Dr. Jafo has congratulated the company for its willingness to collaborate with the Government to invest in the country and also for coming up with a new water production technology that focuses on environmental protection.

He has assured the company of sufficient cooperation so that his ambition in investing in the country can be successful and thus help the people to get water service while the environment is protected.

In addition to following the rules and procedures of the country, Minister Jafo also instructed the director to submit the official request to the Office of the Vice President as well as Government institutions responsible for developing investment and business in general.

Earlier in his explanation, Mr. Fuchs in his explanation said that the technology can produce up to 1.7 billion liters of drinking water every day and promote greenery without irrigation, so it will be beneficial to the environment.

He mentioned other benefits are the improvement of infrastructure, employment and electricity production, the amount of which will be used to continue the activities of the company and benefit the people.

In the same way, the director said along with the technology, they are looking at how to invest in carbon trading in this country where the income will benefit villages with forest reserves.
